A Guide to Petite Styling!
At Stitch Fix, we spend a lot of time thinking about different body shapes and how our inventory fits our clients. A subject that comes up a lot is how to dress a petite shape! Our stylist, Catherine is not only petite but knows how to dress her body well. Here are some of her tried and true tips to best dress this shape!

What to wear on top?
-Blouses that hit right at the hips. Anything longer will drown you!

-V-necks and Scoop-neck tops help elongate your upper body

-Fitted tops and blazers are your best friends

-Aim for single-breasted buttons to lengthen your torso

What to wear on bottom?
-Pin-stripes pants and skirts give the illusion of longer legs

-A 30inch inseam is perfect for petite gals 5’4 and under

-A-line and pencil skirts that hit just above the knee for business attire

-For jeans, go for a fitted low-rise in either skinny, boot-cut or straight

What to wear for dresses?
Dresses:

-Again, V-necks and scoop neck lines for dresses will be most flattering

-Empire waists, sheaths, or shirt dresses that gather at the waist are perfect for a petite frame

-Dresses that end right above the knee, show some legs for length!

The Infinity Scarf Unraveled: An Easy 3 Step Guide

To wear: Simply loop the infinity scarf around your neck. Take the piece that is draped in front, twist and wrap around your neck. If it is a heavier knit, wrapping it twice around your neck is enough! If it is light and gauzy, wrap it a third time for a tighter more dramatic look.

Pretty in pink! This spring, pink gets grown up in tones that range from rich raspberry to dusty rose. Less electric than their predecessors, this color palette is subdued giving it less shock appeal!
